Flue gas from natural gas-fired
burners is very suitable for CO2
dosing. However, flue gases must contain as few
contaminants (such as ethylene, nitrogen oxides,
&
carbon monoxide) as
possible. Not only can CO2
dosing increase your potential yield, but it can also
reduce your heating costs. Heat storage systems provide
a reservoir for the hot water produced by the boiler
when CO2
is being generated. When CO2
dosing is not needed, the stored heat can be used as a
free source of heat.
