Heat Storage Systems
Heat storage systems provide a
reservoir for the hot water produced during the day
while the boiler is running to generate CO2.
At night, when CO2 dosing
is not needed, the stored heat can be used to warm the
greenhouse whenever necessary--and at no additional
cost. Because the heat generated during CO2
generation in the daytime is preserved and not wasted, a
heat storage system can easily pay for itself due to
reduced fuel costs during the growing season.
